How Do You Make This Drink
To start out, you’ll squeeze up a batch of homemade lemonade. I know what you’re thinking. “Why would I make lemonade when I can just buy a bottle at the store?” It’s not an unreasonable question! But trust me here. When you make your own, it’s super fresh, really delicious, and you can control the sweetness.
Speaking of sweetness, you’re going to sweeten and flavor your lemonade with strawberry simple syrup. It also gives your drink that gorgeous pink color that you can see in the photos.
From there, you’ll just add some plain vodka to the pitcher and give it all a stir. Easy peasy.
When you are ready to pour individual glasses of this cocktail, I really like to fill the glasses with ice and slip some thin slices of strawberry and lemon wheels down between the ice and the glass. That way, you can see them through the glass even after you pour the drink into the glass. I also decided to garnish the glasses with sprigs of fresh mint from my garden.
The garnishes aren’t required, but I think that they really add something to the drink. I mean, look at how pretty they are!
Sweeten Up An Espresso Martini
After a big dinner, please that friend with a sweet tooth with a cake-infused Espresso Martini by mixing 2 ounces of vodka, a half-ounce each of espresso and half & half, and a quarter-ounce of coffee liqueur. The touch of dairy gives the cake vodka some body to stand on, since a drier version tends to lose the sweet flavor.

When Life Hands You Lemons Make 3 Gallons Of Lemonade
So why do I have a half gallon of lemonade in the refrigerator and two gallons in a Thermos vat on the patio after serving nine people and sending a pitcher full next door?
Because it seems that all you really need to entertain three kids for hours is a lemon tree and a Juiceman Jr. Good thing its cold here. The vat outside should stay fresh for a few days.
It was a desire to get three kids outside and out of my hair for a while that led to the project. The back-yard lemon tree was loaded this year, but I feared the weekend frost would put a hurt on the crop. So I sent the kids to pick lemons, promising wed make lemonade when they finished.
To someone whod lived most of her life on the East Coast, lemonade in January at first sounded counter-intuitive. Thats a summer drink, just made for hot, muggy days. Once you head West and realize that winters when the citrus crop comes in, though, your perspective changes. Particularly once youve tried homemade from tree-fresh lemons.
Our first batch wasnt until December this year, because thats how long it took me to repossess the Juiceman from someone whod borrowed it six years ago. Id gone through the manual process the previous winter, and my wrists knew I didnt want to do that again. Not when I had a perfectly good juicer sitting in someone elses garage.
It had sat in our garage for years before that, exiled in one of Dads counter-cleaning kicks that quickly followed the health kick that led to its purchase.
How To Make Boozy Pink Lemonade Punch
Add the lemonade mix to a large pitcher.
Be sure that your pitcher isnt taller than your spoon.
Some pitchers are really tall these days.
Pour vodka and club soda over the mix.
Stir until the mix is dissolved.
Fill your glasses with ice and pour the lemonade into each glass.
Add one tablespoon of grenadine to each glass.
Note: if you want the grenadine to mix with the lemonade, simply pour it into the lemonade, gently stir, and let it mix together.
It may settle a bit.

What Is The Best Blueberry Vodka
I like to use Smirnoffs blueberry vodka because its usually easier to find in stores but other brands such as Burnetts, Triple Eight, or Cold River are just as good.
This vodka lemonade is crisp, sweet, and refreshing. I do have to warn you, just like these Key Lime Vodka Collins his Grapefruit Vodka Cocktail, Blackberry Vodka Gimlets, or these Lemonade Moscow Mules, this cocktail is one of those drinks that hides the alcohol really well.
You start with one, then suck down another, and before you know it you are down for the count. Er, maybe thats just me???
Regardless, this is the quintessential fruit vodka drink!
