Its Friday, woo-hoo!
I dont know about you, but Im about to celebrate with a fabulous cocktail. Theres just nothing better than capping off the week with a really great drink. And in the summertime, it better be something icy-cold and fruity.
Most Friday nights, youll find me on our patio with a classic margarita in hand. Or maybe it will be a frozen mango margarita. Or sometimes well be enjoying frozen sangria slushies.
You really cant go wrong with any of these options! But lately, the strawberries have just been so AMAZING! I want to eat ALL the strawberries right now, and that craving extends all the way into what Im drinking.
So that brings us to todays recipe! The strawberry daiquiri!
Strawberry daiquiris are the perfect summer cocktail. They have a gorgeous, vibrant color, and theyre a little sweet, a little tangy, and SUPER refreshing. Plus theyre a snap to make with just 4 simple ingredients.
So grab your blender, and mix up a big pitcher!
Wonderful Additions And Substitutions
- Use a strawberry liqueur in the shaken version instead of fresh berries. Begin with 1 ounce of liqueur and adjust it to suit your taste.
- Use a spiced rum in the daiquiri. Aged rum is also a good substitution, or add an extra 1/2 ounce of dark rum along with the light rum.
- Give the drink a boost of fruit flavor by adding 1/2 ounce of an orange liqueursuch as Cointreauor elderflower or ginger liqueurs for a nice character.
- Add herbs like basil, mint, and rosemary, all of which pair perfectly with strawberries. They can be incorporated into the muddle or blender, or you can use a flavored simple syrup.

For this strawberry daiquiri recipe, you can use either and both are great. Frozen strawberries are easy if you dont have access to fresh peaches. And you can use less ice and frozen strawberries makes the drink more slushy. Also, it melts slower. If you have some really sweet and ripe fresh strawberries you can use those instead of frozen. Just make sure to use a little more ice. Or if you dont want the frozen strawberry daiquiri to be too slushy, you can use less. Customize the drink to your perusal liking and everyone will be happy. Its definitely a frozen cocktail drink to make everyone happy, especially when its a hot day. You can double the recipe if you like to serve more. It all depends on how much to serve each person. Just please drink responsibly!

Yes! To keep your frozen daiquiris for later, follow these steps to store them in the freezer. They will store well for about 3-4 weeks, but I guarantee youll want to enjoy them before then.
- Follow the instructions above to blend your strawberry daiquiri cocktail.
- Pour the daiquiris into jars. Leave 1 to 2 at the top, because the liquid will expand when frozen. You dont want the jar to be too full! Tightly add the lids, then freeze.
