This Bloody Mary Mix recipe is extremely easy to prepare, and the greatest part is that it will keep for several weeks in your refrigerator.
With exceptional results, you may even freeze your bloody mary mix for up to a year. I use these ice cube trays to freeze it in one-cup servings
Many recipes call for lemon or lime juice, but because this is somewhat of a morning cocktail, I like to add orange juice to the mix to sweeten it up. It gives the mixture a light and refreshing flavor.
Simply combine the tomato juice, lime juice, orange juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt, celery salt, celery seed, olive brine , and black pepper in a jar or pitcher to produce your Bloody Mary Mix. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and cover tightly.
Refrigerate your Bloody Mary Mix for at least an hour to let the flavors to meld. Simply pour one cup of bloody mary mix into a glass and top with vodka when ready to serve.
You can prepare your bloody mary mix with pickle brine if you dont like olives or dont want to use olive brine in this recipe. You can also leave out the vodka if you want a virgin Bloody Mary.

When it comes to cocktails, I think flavoring the vodka myself is more enjoyable than buying flavored vodka. My friend Ashley taught me the basics and we tried some other flavors together. It doesnt get any easier than this. Just put your natural seasonings in the jar, such as citrus peel, strawberries, vanilla, vanilla bean, or any of the other seasonings in the table below. Secure the lid after adding the vodka. Shake the mixture vigorously several times a day. In 4 to 5 days, youll have an organic-flavored vodka ready to be used in a variety of cocktail recipes.
We used orange peel, basil and vanilla beans in this recipe. It turned out great, but dont be limited by the taste. If you like berries, pour a cup of whole, washed berries with the vodka. The same can be said for almost every other fruit. Cut pineapple, melon and mango into cubes. If you want something spicy, put a couple of whole peppers in the jar your Bloody Mary will never be the same.
Use a certified gluten-free vodka made from potatoes to make this dish gluten-free.
