Can We Drink Vodka Directly
Absolutely, this is known as drinking it neat or straight and is a standard practice for many vodka consumers. You can add ice if wished or just drink it as it is. Some mixers disguise the alcohol, so be careful not to drink too much and remember that alcohol and some mixers are high in calories.
How To Make The Blueberry Vodka Drink Recipe
In order to make the blueberry vodka recipe, you are going to have to do a few steps. These steps are quick, but they are all necessary in order to have the perfect blueberry lemon spritzer.
First, in a shaker or glass, combine the blueberry vodka, lemon juice, and agave and pour over ice to chill. In another glass or the top of your shaker, muddle the blueberries.
Next, you are going to strain the lemon/agave/blueberry vodka mixture from the ice and pour it over the muddled blueberries. The blueberry mixture now contains more liquid so you want to muddle again now that the vodka/lemon/agave is combined.
Next, you will strain the mixture one last time in order to separate the pulp and skin of the blueberries from the drink. You do not want the blueberry skins floating around for the sake of this spritzer.
Once you have strained the mixture, you will put it in a shaker and give it about 45 shakes. You will NOT combine it with the sparkling water. You do that after shaking since the water is carbonated.
After your 45 shakes, you will finally combine the muddled blueberries, blueberry vodka, agave, and lemon juice mixture and pour over the sparkling water of your choice!
Your final step is to garnish. I recommend garnishing with a skewer of blueberries and a lemon for color and flavor! Feel free to customize this blueberry vodka recipe based on your tastes once you have tried it this way one time!
Blueberry Lavender Vodka Spritzer
The Spruce Eats

The recipe makes a full pitcher, so it’s perfect for a small gathering. You can also mix everything up without the soda, keep it in the fridge, and have a ready-to-pour cocktail that just needs some ice and sparkle.

The Best Blueberry Vodka
Though blueberries are easy to obtain and native to North America, they still have an exotic feel to them. Theyre a deep, dark blue color, their flavor is strong, sweet, and slightly tart, and theyre absolutely filled with antioxidants and other crucial nutrients. Theyre grouped with other superfoods, theyre such a healthy fruit.
Theyre also popular in mixed drinks and as a flavored spirit. So popular, in fact, that some distilleries have only one flavored expression, and its blueberry! The best blueberry vodka is one that brings the berry essence to any mixed drink its featured in. Blueberries are not overly sweet and offer the slightest of tangy notes so theyre incredibly versatile.
The following list contains several well-known, proven brands that work hard on creating high-quality vodka to work with in the first place. Once their base is perfected, they source whole, fresh fruits and infuse their natural flavors and essences into their carefully crafted, smooth, crisp vodkas.

Cold River Blueberry Vodka
Cold River Blueberry Vodka is Cold Rivers one and only flavored vodka and has been for many years. Its made with the same care and attention to detail as their regular base vodka, and this shows. The entire process happens in one place where it can be carefully monitored and the quality of the final product is unmatched.
The vodka itself is made from potatoes grown in Maine, where the wild blueberries for each bottle are found as well. They steep the blueberries for five days to extract and trap their sweet, delicious essence which is then infused into their expertly-made potato vodka.
The profile is heavy on the blueberry, with soft, sweet, fresh aromas of blueberry muffins coming through on the nose. Home Made Blackberry Vodka Gift
Home made gifts can be great, whether youre on a budget, or you just want to put in a little extra effort to make a unique gift for someone special. Blackberry vodka makes a great gift as it tastes wonderful and is appreciated by both foodies and drinkers alike.
Home made blackberry vodka is also really economical if you can harvest your blackberries for free in your garden, or in hedgerows and woods. If you have blackberries in your freezer awaiting a good home, then what better home than vodka. Buy cheap no-brand vodka to keep costs down.
Once ready theres no need to drain off the liqueur from the fruit. Your gift recipient can drink the liqueur, and spoon out the infused blackberries to serve on ice cream as a delicious boozy treat.
If you are feeling generous then you can accompany your homemade blackberry liqueur gift with some store bought liqueur glasses as a lovely combination gift.

This Blueberry Vodka Cooler might seem like a summer drink to you but for me its going in the all year round cocktail category. Blueberries are always a good choice at the grocery store year round so you can make this drink whenever you want to.
And youre going to want to, I promise you that.
We picked up this blueberry seltzer the last time we were out shopping around for ingredients. After hiding it from my kids for a few weeksI pulled it out and tried to figure out what to make with it. Straight up it was good, but a little sweet so I definitely wanted to use a good vodka and fresh fruit to balance out the sweetness.
Besides vodka and blueberry seltzer I added some elderflower liquor to bring out the flavor in the blueberries and mint. Elderflower is a floral liquor, but not sweet as you might think, so it also worked perfectly in this drink.
