What Goes Good With Blue Raspberry Vodka

Good Options That Blend Price And Taste

Svedka Blue Raspberry Vodka
  • Smirnoff: This is a solid alcohol. It burns a bit going down, but it’s a great bang for your buck. It does the job, doesn’t take like rubbing alcohol, and blends pretty seamlessly with most flavors. It’s also what I used in this article! Smirnoff also has a ton of flavored options.
  • Vitali: In our taste test, this vodka ranked well ahead of everything but Goose. If you want quality and quantity, this is probably your best option. It blended really well with the gelatin and didn’t have too much of an alcohol-y kick.
  • New Amsterdam: A slightly classier Smirnoff, in my opinion. They’re similarly priced, taste similar, and both do the job well. If one is on sale, go with that one because, like I said, they’re really similar.
  • Three Olives: This stuff is pretty tasty, and they have some unique flavors . However, it’s a bit pricer than Smirnoff. It’s a bit smoother than Smirnoff. It’s definitely worth a try, but maybe isn’t the most economical choice for a huge rager. Using the cherry flavor vodka in the shots definitely made the flavor more pronounced.

Why Is Kool Aid Bad For You

Yes, Kool Aid is bad for you. Each cup of Kool Aid has 20 grams of sugar, or to be precise, the equivalent of 5 teaspoons of sugar. Research has shown that the artificial dyes in Kool Aid may cause hyperactivity in your child. Long-term consumption may increase the risk of obesity, diabetes, and even cancer.

Avoid at All Costs

  • Svedka: I avoid this like the plague. I can always count on Svedka to make me sick and give me a headache in the morning. No other vodka has this affect on me. I once heard the adage, “Never trust liquor that comes in a plastic bottle.” This stuff used to come in a plastic bottle, and I think that adage holds true here. I’d recommend avoiding this at all costs. It tastes like liquid plastic.

Ozarka Sparkling Lemon Water

Believe it or not there is quite a big difference in sparkling water brands. I have had some that seem more like juice or soda than sparkling water. Then there are some that seem to make you more thirsty when you drink them- how is that possible?! I love all the great flavors some brands provide, but I tell you, if you covered my eyes and I took a sip, I couldnt name the flavor because it is so faint!

Ozarka Sparkling Lemon Water is absolutely my preferred sparkling water for my Raspberry Vodka Soda. It has great pronounced lemon flavor! If you choose an Ozarka Sparkling Lemon Water you will know you are drinking a LEMON sparkling water, and it is actually refreshing like water should be.

How To Make Jello Shots

When you make Jello Shots, you follow the recipe almost the same as it says on the box but with one adjustment.

The first part, where you pour 1 cup of boiling water over the gelatin mix is exactly the same.

But, when you add the cold water, you only use half a cup. The other half a cup will be your liquor.

Theyre super duper easy to make. The hardest part is pouring the mixture into the tiny cups!

When your jello sets, top them off with a Jolly Rancher Gummy candy. These have the exact same flavor as your class Jolly Ranchers but they are chewy.

Even with the candy on top you will be able to put the lid on your plastic cups so you can take them to go. Of course, you could leave that part out if you want. It just adds a little fun pop of extra color on top.

You and your guests will love these jello shots and they will quickly become a favorite at your parties. Feel free to change up the liquor flavors and try new things! You can find lots of yummy jello shot recipes at Kitchen Fun, too!

Svedka Blue Raspberry Vodka Review

Some of the more popular and common flavors on the list include Watermelon, Strawberry Kiwi, Soarin Strawberry Lemonade, and Lemon-Lime. The flavorful drink was invented in 1927 by Edwin Perkins in Hastings, Nebraska to reduce the shipping costs of his already-existing liquid concentrate, Fruit Smack.

Berry Blue Jello Shot Ingredients

Thankfully, berry blue jello shots are straight forward and a simple recipe. Whats the hardest part? Waiting for them to chill in the fridge before serving.

Heres what you need:

  • 3 ounce box of Berry Blue flavored jello
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1 cup of alcohol try it with Svedka Blue Raspberry Vodka
  • Blue Raspberry gummies for garnish
  • Drink Umbrellas are also fun and makes it easier to dig out the jello shot!

Note: If you want to make more shots from each batch you can use the 1 oz little cups instead of the 2 oz size.

Great Vodkas If You Have Money To Spend

  • Grey Goose: Grey Goose is delicious. However, you’re mostly paying for the import cost here, not necessarily the quality of vodka. That said, it IS a better vodka than Smirnoff, meaning that it’s smoother. If you can afford a giant bottle of Goose, those shots will go down real smooth.
  • Absolut: In the same quality tier as Grey Goose, this is a wonderful vodka. However, the extra quality that you’re paying for is likely to get lost in the Jell-O. If you find a good sale though, go for it! This vodka won’t disappoint.
  • Belvedere: While delicious and smooth with only the slightest of burns, the intricate flavors are going to be overwhelmed by the Jell-O. If you can swing it and want some smooooth shots, go for it.

Nut And Veggie Flavor Pairings

SVEDKA Blue Raspberry Vodka, 750 ml bottle, 70 Proof ...

Quite often, your pairing search begins not with fruit, but with a nut, often in the form of a liqueur, syrup, or another sweetener. To reverse roles, Marques has developed a few suggestions for those nutty essences that create fascinating flavors.

  • Almond: Pairs well with apple, apricot, banana, caramel, cherry, coffee, fig, honey, orange, peach, pear, and plum. Keep this in mind when adding amaretto liqueur or orgeat syrup to your cocktails.

  • Chestnut: Pairs well with apple, caramel, chocolate, coffee, pear, and vanilla.

  • Hazelnut: Pairs well with apple, apricot, banana, berries, caramel, cherry, chocolate, citrus, fig, mandarin, peach, pear, and plum. The flavor is most often added in the form of Frangelico and other hazelnut liqueurs.

  • Walnut: Pairs well with apple, apricot, banana, caramel, chocolate, cinnamon, nectarine, peach, pear, plum, and rum. Though not common, nocino is a walnut-flavored liqueur.

The Swedish Polar Bear Cocktail Pretty And Delicious

To celebrate winter, in all of its glory, I figured we should share a tasty winter cocktail recipe. Sure, Id rather be somewhere hot but since Im stuck in Edmonton, I might as well enjoy the decent weather weve been getting as of late with a cocktail, right? This one, like the Scarlet Kiss I shared earlier, was also made by my sister Angela and is called a Swedish Polar Bear.

This is one stunning looking cocktail. It almost makes me not want to drink it, but thankfully my thirst for a good cocktail wont allow it to just sit there untouched.

This is a great drink for winter and is super easy to make. There are two variations on this drink. For those who prefer, you can skip the flavored vodka and use the normal stuff, but in a nutshell, you are going to combine Raspberry Vodka, Blue Curacao, Sprite and a splash of lemon juice. Like I said, if you dont have Raspberry vodka, you can use unflavored vodka, just be aware that the taste of each drink will differ slightly.

You can use a snowflake for garnish if you want to get fancy. These can be ordered from Amazon using the link below:

Make a bunch of these for your next gathering or for a Valentines day cocktail alongside the Scarlet Kiss and you are sure to impress. Dont forget to check out the rest of my cocktail recipes here: Cocktail Recipes and try these cocktails:

What Does Blue Raspberry Vodka Taste Like

Blue raspberry frozen cocktail (koolaid, jolly ranchers and vodka)

Svedka is the fifth vodka brand I am aware of to produce a blue raspberry vodka flavor. The others include UV, Wave, Burnetts, and Ursus. The aroma is raspberry jam and lemonade. The sweet raspberry bubblegum entry is joined by tart lemon flavor building to a very sweet and tart raspberry syrup and lemonade peak.

Blue Raspberry Vodka Or Regular Vodka

For the best vodka for jello shots, I recommend using Svedka Blue Raspberry Vodka. Its easy to find and a very affordable vodka. Svedka flavored vodkas are great for the jello shots because they come in all kinds of fruit flavors. The peach, mango and pineapple are wonderfully tasty.

Yes, you can absolutely use regular vodka with berry blue jello but flavored vodkas in jello shots really do make a difference! The taste is smoother and more fruitful. Its definitely worth matching up the flavor of jello with corresponding vodka flavors!

If you opt for regular vodka, choose a good vodka to keep this fruity cocktail smooth. You dont want your jello shots to have a bite.

What Drink Is Mixed With Uv Blue Vodka And Sprite

A cocktail that combines UV Blue Vodka and Sprite, or other lemon-lime soda, is a Blue Frost. A Blue Frost consists of 1 1/2 ounces of UV Blue, which is a raspberry-flavored vodka, with a scoop of softened raspberry sherbet and a small amount of lemon-lime soda. Serve the drink in a rocks glass filled with ice, add the sherbet and stir, then add the vodka and fill the glass with lemon-lime soda.

UV Vodka is a line of flavored vodka made by the Phillips Distilling company. As of 2014, there are 22 flavored vodkas made by UV Vodka, including UV Espresso Vodka, UV Cherry Vodka, UV Sriracha Vodka, UV Salty Watermelon Vodka and UV Chocolate Cake Vodka. There are also five mixed cocktail vodka mixes as well. Because of the flavoring, UV Vodkas lend themselves to making mixed drinks. There are few other cocktails that feature UV Blue Vodka, including another drink using lemon-lime soda.

    The Perfect Vodka Jell

I’m a junior in college studying creative writing with a minor in children’s literature.

These amazing Jello-o shots are great for any party.

As a college student gearing up for our annual Oktoberfest on campus, I’ve been preparing these shots between classes. I have an over-abundance of Smirnoff vodka, and one can only drink so much before it gets boring. Here is a cheap, fun way to make delicious Jell-O shots.

Smirnoff is a decent bang-for-your-buck vodka, especially when it comes to making Jell-O shots with it.

    Jell-O Shots Are Sneaky!

Because the alcohol gets absorbed into the gelatin once ingested, it takes longer to hit you. The sugar and flavoring also help mask the taste of the alcohol, so these things can sneak up on you. Be careful enjoying these tasty treats!
