This is possible due to the companys Innovation Machine, a team of forward-thinking individuals who have fast tracked the process of creating a new product, like beer for dogs, from 18 months to around 100 days.
The team navigated and overcame the challenges like safety and taste that came with creating a brew meant for dogs and not people. The dog beer is a mixture of bone broth from pork butt with corn, celery, and a blend of turmeric, ginger, basil, and mint. A healthy and inventive tail-wagging treat, that can also serve as a food substitute for dogs who cant eat dry dog food. The four-pack was released on National Dog Day 2020 and sold out in 24 hours. Since then, it has become a pet favorite.
This canine ale is not the only innovation to come out of their labs. In the last six months, the company has produced 32 new seltzer flavors for their range of brands like Bud Light, Michelob, Natural Light, Ritas, Social Club Seltzer, Bon Viv, and more.

Here’s How To Enter The Busch Beer Dog Brew Contest
The contest is free to enter, and you can do so in one of three ways.
Submit a picture of your dog on social media through Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook using the hashtag #BuschCTOcontest. It’s also important you follow Busch Beer on the same social media platform you use to submit the entry, and the post must be set to public so judges can see it.
The official contest rules state that entries will be judged based on three factors: ” Originality Creativity and, Relevance to the Contest theme of telling us why your dog should become the Chief Tasting Officer for Busch Dog Brew. The one Entry receiving the highest cumulative scores awarded by the Panel will be deemed the Grand Prize winner and receive the Grand Prize .”
Entries will be accepted from April 13 through April 28, 2021. The winner gets not only $20,000 but also 10 four-packs of Busch Dog Brew and an $800 pre-paid Visa gift card to purchase pet insurance for your dog. The potential winner will be notified via direct message on the platform of their submission, and they must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize, or it will be forfeited and a new winner selected.

Dubbed Dog Brew by Busch, the beer is an all-natural beer brewed from bone broth. Theres no alcohol or hops involved in the brew, just a melee of flavors designed to appeal to a dogs palate, including bone-in pork butt, corn, celery, basil, mint, turmeric, ginger and water.
Humans can sip on the beer, but you may find it pretty bland, the website urges.
Just like a regular Busch, it comes in a pop-top can. It can be used either as a refreshing treat for dogs or to soften hard food.
The company stresses it is not a meal replacement, and you should, quite obviously, not feed your dogs real beer.
“After a long day there’s nothing quite like having a Busch with a friend, and with so many new pet owners across America this year, we wanted to create a brew to give our fans a chance to share a Busch brew with their ‘best friend,'” Daniel Blake, Anheuser-Busch’s VP of value brands, said in a statement.
