Revel Stoke Gets New Flavored Whiskey Variants Added
Phillips Distilling Company recently announced Revel Stoke has introduced new flavored whiskeys it feels will speak to todays independent whisky drinker.
The distilled spirits company, which has been working on spirits for more than 109 years, said the flavor names like Nutcrusher Peanut Butter, Hotbox Cinnamon, SonofaPeach, and Leid Roasted Pineapple, are new.
Revel Stokes design is being positioned to be high-energy, personality-driven and tailored to a new segment of independent whisky drinkers seeking to break free from traditional whisky brands.

Over time whisky has gotten too serious and boring, said Peter Olson, Senior Brand Manager Brown Spirits at Phillips Distilling Company, in a prepared statement. Whisky should be about outrageously good times, so we made Revel Stoke for those who live life on their own terms and boldly challenge convention at every turn.
Revel Stoke has 12 unique flavors that the brand says can be sipped neat, on ice or in cocktails, and recipes are available online.
Flavored whisky as a category is growing exponentially and there already is high early demand for our SonofaPeach,Hardcore Roasted Apple, and Shellshocked Roasted Pecan flavors. Compared to other whiskeys, Canadian whiskey doesnt have nearly as many legal requirements. Like Scotch and Irish whisky, Canadian whiskey must be mashed and distilled in Canada, and is usually mashed from a mix of grains such as corn, barley, wheat and/or rye. Canadian whiskey is often distilled to a higher ABV , creating a spirit with less impurities , and therefore a much lighter taste once diluted. The spirit must then be aged a minimum of three years in Canada in wooden barrels, before being bottled at no less than 40% ABV. One unique aspect to Canadian whiskey blending is that it is legally allowed to be blended with other spirits or wine, up to 9.09% , before being bottled.
