What To Mix With Raspberry Vodka

Ozarka Sparkling Lemon Water

How To Make A Raspberry Vodka Collins Cordial | Drinks Made Easy

Believe it or not there is quite a big difference in sparkling water brands. I have had some that seem more like juice or soda than sparkling water. Then there are some that seem to make you more thirsty when you drink them- how is that possible?! I love all the great flavors some brands provide, but I tell you, if you covered my eyes and I took a sip, I couldnt name the flavor because it is so faint!

Ozarka Sparkling Lemon Water is absolutely my preferred sparkling water for my Raspberry Vodka Soda. It has great pronounced lemon flavor! If you choose an Ozarka Sparkling Lemon Water you will know you are drinking a LEMON sparkling water, and it is actually refreshing like water should be.

How To Style The Garnish

To make this garnish youll need one lemon wheel, one raspberry, and a mint leave. Lay the lemon wheel flat. Then take a toothpick and place it through one side of the lemon wheel. Put a raspberry in the middle. Stick the toothpick through the raspberry, and through the other side of the lemon wheel. Add a mint leave and voila!

Its been a long hot week and I know just what you need: a cold and refreshing cocktail that isnt sugary. A drink that is made with delicious fruity flavor and a few bubbles. Let me mix you up a Raspberry Vodka Soda, its My Favorite Summer Cocktail.

The Raspberry Vodka Soda is a super easy-to-make cocktail that is refreshing and not sweet, or sugary but is full of raspberry flavor, and fresh citrusy lemon. It is an easy to drink cocktail, so you can have 2 or 3 and not feel like you just drank a candy bars worth of sugar.

A Raspberry Vodka Soda is made with a 1 part Smirnoff Raspberry Vodka, 2 or 3 parts Ozarka Lemon Sparkling Water, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and it you are feeling fancy- frozen or fresh raspberry garnish.

It tastes like a refreshing raspberry lemonade if you could take all the sugar out of that lemonade and only have the refreshing flavor of lemon and raspberry remaining! Perfect!

Raspberry Lemonade Vodka Spritzer

Sparkling Raspberry Vodka Cocktail

This Raspberry Lemonade Vodka Spritzer is the perfect cocktail for a warm summer day, or if you want a cute pink cocktail for a Valentines date! Light and refreshing with just a little kiss of sweetness, this pink lemonade vodka cocktail is going to be a hit!

And how cute is this blush pink color?

This isnt my first vodka cocktail to post here. Its also not my second. I just really love a good vodka cocktail, and lately Ive been mildly obsessed with trying different flavor combinations. This is perhaps the sweetest of the three that Ive done so far. If you want some other flavor options, check out my Electric Lemonade Vodka Cocktail and Vodka Lemonade Spritzer.

How To Rim A Cocktail Glass

Place a few tablespoons of granulated sugar on a plate. Use a lemon wedge with a slit cut in the middle. Run it along the edge of the cocktail glass until the entire top is wet. Then dip the cocktail glass gently in to the sugar, rotating it as you go. So the whole rim is covered in sugar.

For a fun touch you can also use colored sugar if you cant find colored sugar, sprinkles work just fine.

However Now Now There Is Heat

So. Much. HEAT.

The sun is beating down every day. When I cook, the house turns into an oven. Going out at 7:30am for coffee is no longer a pleasant experience since its 70+ degrees and hot coffee is the last thing I need in life at that moment.

All I can say is thank goodness for AC. I just listened to a post-apocolyptic book about a world without AC and I literally cant even imagine if that was my reality. AH.

Thats where this lovely vodka lemonade comes into play. When its hot as hell outside and all I want to do is grill, I grab a jar full of this lovely raspberry vodka lemonade and kick back as the meat sizzles away.

I personally love to make this recipe and leave a pitcher of it in the refrigerator . You can sip on it all week and its so nice to just have there waiting for you at the end of a long day.

Alternatively this is the best cocktail to make for a large gathering!

I believe big batch cocktails are the best thing to make for parties , because its easy to make and easy to drink. Not to mention you can make a double batch to last all night long or just have the ingredients on hand to whip up another batch if you happen to run out.

Much safer to just make the double batch though Having leftovers is never a bad thing after all ð

What Do I Need For This Raspberry Lemonade

Coconut Raspberry Vodka Cocktail

This variety of Vodka Spritzer requires four ingredients:

  • Raspberry Vodka: I prefer Raspberry Absolut. Smirnoff also works well. It doesnt have to be super expensive, but I would avoid the extra cheap stuff as well.
  • Prosecco: My favorite is La Marca, but you can certainly use whatever kind you like.
  • Lemonade: I used the Simply Lemonade for this drink. It has some sugar, but if you need less, there is also a light version with less sugar.
  • Raspberry Syrup: You can usually find this in the grocery store with other alcohol mixers or in any liquor store.

Shaken not stirred By shaking the cocktail it helps evenly distribute the ingredients, breaks down the citrus a little, completely chills the cocktail, and even breaks up the raspberries for the perfect flavor!!

This method of making liqueur doesnt work only with vodka, you can try it with other booze too! Try any of these:

  • gin
  • rum white rum might be the best for this I think
  • tequila

Unfortunately this recipe isnt something you can whip up and enjoy right away. It takes at least a month or two months, to develop the flavor fully. But let me tell you, its worth the wait! Im fairly certain you wont find anything as good as this in the liquor store.

The fruity flavor is outstanding!

What Does Blue Raspberry Vodka Taste Like

Svedka Blue Raspberry vodka starts with a vodka base made from Swedish winter wheat. The sweet raspberry bubblegum entry is joined by tart lemon flavor building to a very sweet and tart raspberry syrup and lemonade peak. It fades with a warm mild sting and finishes with bittersweet lemon and raspberry taste.

How To Make Raspberry Infused Vodka

Valentines Day is tomorrow! Do you have any plan?

I dont want to ruin the party but in my opinion, Valentines Day is over-rated. Seriously! Not to mention that lately it has become increasingly commercialized. Its like if your love is measured by how much did you spend buying the present, or how big was the flowers bouquet, or how expensive was the restaurant. So unreal.

After 25 years of marriage, I know love is not about that. Love is much more complex. For me I mean us its more about showing your partner love and consideration 365 days in the year. That will make a greater impact than doing so just on Valentines Day. Its a beautiful gesture to buy someone flowers or chocolates on the 14th, but its even more beautiful to treat them with care every other day as well.

I am super lucky to have the husband that I have. He is my soul mate. He understands me and knows what I want even before I ask. And after all these years he finally knows how I like my morning coffee hahaha. We have good days and bad days, just like any other marriage, but together we can overcome any obstacle.

Chu, I know youre going to be the first person to read this postSo I Love you! Thank you for everything you do for our family. And thank you for making me feel loved every day

    Now this cocktail!!

    Its so good.

    How To Make Raspberry Vodka

I love raspberry vodka. Following on from my previous DIY vodka attempts I have now made my first batch of homemade Raspberry Vodka. Oh yes, I predict great things for this batch.

I would love to say that I foraged for the raspberries myself, but good intentions fell by the wayside and I just missed the season. So for this recipe I bought some delicious raspberries from the supermarket. They look pretty good quality, and Im sure they will do the job for this first try.

Another simple recipe, you only need a large mason jar, 325g of raspberries, 325g of sugar and 2 litres of vodka.

After the toffee vodka experiment I have decided to go back to fairly medium-grade vodka as the cheapo supermarket burns-the-back-of-your-throat variety is not conducive to happy heads the next day.

    1. First add the raspberries, followed by the sugar to the mason jar

    2. Pour the vodka on top

    3. Close the mason jar lid tightly, and give a good shake.

    4. Store in a cool, dark place. Shake once every day for first couple of weeks.

    5. After 2/3 months the vodka should be ready. Strain through a muslin cloth. Taste and add a little extra sugar if the raspberry vodka is too sharp.

    6. Enjoy with a splash of lemonade. My favourite.

    Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini

Whether you are in a party or at a bar, this drink will definitely catch your eye. It is filled with fruity flavors from the raspberry and citrus flavors from the lemon and it boasts its very pretty bright red color. This also makes a great option for a cocktail to serve to your friends when you are hosting a party.

    Ingredients:

    • Lemon slice and raspberries
    • Ice cubes

    Steps to Make:

  • On a plate, pour in a little bit of simple syrup and on a separate plate, place the sugar. Rim a with the simple syrup first then the sugar. Set the glass aside.
  • In a shaker tin or glass, place the raspberries in and pour ½ oz. of simple syrup. Muddle these together.
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes. Measure the vodka, triple sec and lemon juice with a jigger and pour them into the glass.
  • Cover the shaker with the shaker tin and shake for about 10 seconds.
  • Strain and pour the mixture into the prepared glass. Garnish with the lemon slices and raspberries.

Do I Have To Use These Exact Ingredients For This Vodka Spritzer

One of the great things about these Lemonade Vodka Cocktails that Ive made is that they are incredibly versatile. It all just depends on the flavors you like. At the end of the day, if you like the taste, then youre not wrong.

These drinks are all about balance.

Sweet, tart, sour, bubbly.. these are all elements of this raspberry lemonade that just need to be balanced. Some like more tart, others like more sugar. If you decide to substitute ingredients, consider how the balance changes and how you need to compensate elsewhere.

For example, if you dont want to use pre-mixed lemonade and opt for fresh squeezed lemons, you might want to add more raspberry syrup or mix in a simple syrup because you will be removing most of the source of sugar.

Too much alcohol between the prosecco and the vodka? Consider subbing the prosecco for another source of bubbly. Sparkling water, topo chico, club soda are all options. Youll still get that crisp, bubbly profile but with less intense alcohol percentage.

All that being said, I think this Raspberry Lemonade Vodka Spritzer is a great place to start. Its well balanced already, but you can EASILY make minor adjustments and make it PERFECT for you.
