What To Do With Peanut Butter Whiskey

Sqqrl Peanut Butter Whiskey

How To Mix A Peanut Butter Old Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail

SQQRL Peanut Butter Whiskey is made by prominent whiskey producer Jim Beam so you can have confidence in its quality despite its slightly unconventional nature. This is a good option for those who are skeptical of this novel new category of whiskey but still want to try it.

Its a beautiful amber color with light golden hues with a strong aroma of freshly roasted peanuts. This is balanced nicely with sweet notes of butterscotch and chocolate.

The palate is similar, opening with strong, smooth peanut butter and a touch of chocolate. The finish is long with more roasted peanuts and sweet, lingering butterscotch.

We Tried Peanut Butter Whiskey And It Was Incredible

It seems so wrong, but tastes so right.

Im not sure what I was expecting when I tried Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey. I love peanut butter, and I love whiskey, but together? I wasnt sold.

While whiskey was my drink of choice in college, I cant truthfully say Im a seasoned taster. My choices tendedand lets be honest, still tendto be based on price.

Ive made many a bartender grimace at my regular whatevers cheapest order.

That said, I can definitely tell the difference between an Old Crow and a Crown Royal.

I guess I thought Skrewball would taste like a higher end whiskey with peanut butter flavoring. I wasnt exactly wrongbut damn, is it delicious.

Its touted as a peanut butter whiskey, but theres no mistaking the chocolate undertones.

Imagine a 70-proof Reeses Cup, and thats pretty much what we have here.

I left the bottle on the table so people could taste at their leisurewhile Im certainly not opposed to drinking whiskey at 11 a.m. at work, its probably not cool to force your coworkers to do the same.

An equally impressed taster was positively overwhelmed by the cocktail possibilities:

Another taster was reminded of another flavored whiskey:

It kind of seems like a classier Fireball! Id probably drink this mixed with something else. Its a little sweet for me, but props for creativity!

Im A Little Embarrassed I Like This So Much

This coats my tongue the way a Starbucks caramel syrup does, and though its wildly sweet for a whiskey, its warm and ⦠not unpleasant? Im getting butterscotch, caramel corn and a little punch of coffee at the end but no peanut butter flavor, only aroma .

Theres no doubt its a dessert whiskey I imagine it being the perfect melting place for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. As a major whiskey/bourbon drinker, Im a little embarrassed I like this so much.

Drunken Peanut Butter Rum Punch

The Drunken peanut butter rum punch is a variation on the more traditional Whiskey Ginger thatâs been given this name because of its unique and highly flavorful combination of ingredients. It contains both yellow or light brown sugar as well as dark corn syrupâthese two sweeteners are mixed together with Guinness beer, ginger ale , and American whiskey to make it taste delicious!

Instructions

Mix ½ cup each brown sugar, white sugar, corn syrup in a bowl until theyâre evenly distributed pour in ¾ cup chilled Guinness beer and cups chilled ginger ale/seltzer water add one tablespoon vanilla extract then mix everything together again. Youâll also want to use about three tablespoons of bourbon whiskey and one tablespoon of dark rum.

Pour the mixture into a large bowl, then add ice cubes until itâs about ¾ full top off with more beerâeither Guinness or any other type you prefer . You can garnish this drink by pouring some whipped cream on top and adding in two tablespoons of chocolate syrup to give it an extra dose of sweetness if desired. However, these arenât necessary since there are plenty of natural sweeteners already included so go ahead and enjoy!

Skrewball White Russian Recipe Directions

Whiskey Review: Rams Point Peanut Butter Whiskey Thirty ...

Here are the step-by-step directions to create this delicious Skrewball Whiskey drink.

Step 1: Rim your whiskey glass with creamy peanut butter

This is actually easier to do with a knife than a spoon, but I used a spoonful of peanut butter in the ingredients photo and used it to rim the glass. So, you dont need a big spoonful of peanut butter, just put a little bit of peanut butter on a knife to rim the glass.

Step 2: Dip your peanut butter rim in coarse salt to finish off the garnished glass.

I love the salty and sweet mix, but I know this isnt the flavor for everyone. The salty peanut butter rim is totally optional!

Step 3: To build the pretty layers of a Peanut Butter White Russian, the first ingredient is 2 ounces of Skrewball Whiskey.

Step 4: Next, add 1.5 ounces of Kahlua Liqueur to your lowball glass.

Step 5: A nod to the original recipe, we add .5 ounces of vodka. Just a little extra booze for this boozy drink!

Step 6: Add ice, but dont fill it all the way to the top because you still need to add the cream.

Step 7: Pour the Half and Half or Heavy Cream on top.

Should you use Half and Half or Heavy Cream? Half and Half is lighter and creamy enough to get the desired cocktail flavors and texture. If you like a creamier drink, go for the Heavy Cream.

Step 8: Stir well and add a few more ice cubes to the top.

Cheers!

These shots are an output of peanut butter whiskey, milk, and coffee liquor. So take a shaker, add whiskey, milk, and coffee liquor, add some ice cubes and shake it. Now add the liquid into your desired glass and serve it. Before doing this, if you want to make it look more appealing, melt some peanut butter cups and take some golden sprinkles. Take the glass, dip it in melted chocolate, and immediately dip it in sprinkles. Take extra peanut butter cups, dip them in melted chocolate and directly keep it on the glass and leave it to dry, now pour the drink, and enjoy.

Does Coke Go With Whiskey

Its a hit with young drinkers because the taste of the whiskey gets diluted in ten ounces of cola. The other notes from the whiskey blend in with the Coke, but theyre still there. But the strongest flavor is definitely the cola. And that makes this a very enjoyable drink for anybody who likes the flavor of cola.

Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey Review And Recipes

Youd be hard-pressed to find anyone who doesnt love peanut butter and whiskey separately, of course. Theyre delectable, life-affirming treats that taste best first thing in the morning with breakfast. But, peanut butter whiskey seems like the answer to a question no one was asking. Regardless, Skrewballs Peanut Butter Whiskey has answered that question.

The self-described worlds first peanut butter whiskey is purportedly the first and only such whiskey on the market. Skrewball is taking a bold stance that their liquid novelty is not only good as a flavoring agent, but that it stands confidently on its own: as a shot, on the rocks, or neat. Its a tall promise. Intense flavoring works in vodkas and rums. However, flavored whiskey just as with, say, flavored tequila is a whole other animal.

After a neat sampling, our first impressions were mixed. The nose is earthy and slightly dusty, reminiscent of natural peanut butter. The taste is another matter entirely. The whiskey takes a backseat to the peanut butter notes, which are strong, rich, and sweet, almost cloying. This is a love-it-or-hate-it liquor.

For serious peanut butter fans who like their cocktails on the syrupy, dessert-like side, it seems a perfect fit. Skrewball gets this, which is why their lineup of recipes includes peanut-butter-forward cocktails like the Skrew Putin .
