Does Coke Go With Whiskey
Its a hit with young drinkers because the taste of the whiskey gets diluted in ten ounces of cola. The other notes from the whiskey blend in with the Coke, but theyre still there. But the strongest flavor is definitely the cola. And that makes this a very enjoyable drink for anybody who likes the flavor of cola.

All About Skrewball Whiskey
If youre looking at this recipe, we assume you probably have a bottle of Skrewball at home. Skrewball whiskey is a flavored whiskey that tastes like peanut butter. Heres a bit more about this intriguing type of whiskey:
- Skrewball peanut butter whiskey is a flavored whiskey made with real peanuts. The company was founded by husband and wife team Steven and Brittany Yeng, based in San Diego, California. Skrewball launched in 2018 and has become very popular in the US.
- Skrewball has a thick, sticky texture. It tastes very sweet, with a strong peanut finish and notes of caramel, coffee and vanilla. Honestly, its more like drinking Baileys than bourbon.
- Is Skrewball really a whiskey? You might ask this after tasting it. Its so sweet, it barely tastes like whiskey at all! Whiskey technically should be 40% ABV when its bottled, and Skrewball is 35% ABV. Its labeled as a flavored whiskey, so you can go with that.

Good stories, bad stories, they all start somewhere. Some start with a night of drinking that ends with a round of shots. In fact, the tale of Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey starts with a shot.
Skrewball is the brainchild of Steven Yeng. While bartending in Ocean Beach, CA he would serve shots of whiskey with peanut butter. As the shot became popular, his wife and business partner, Brittany, helped him develop it further. Like Marjorie Samuels, who created the signature brand for Makers Mark, Brittany Yeng turned that one shot into the Skewball brand.
The logo of the first peanut butter flavored whiskey may seem confusing as it is a dripping black and gold marbled sheep. However, the back of the label explains it all with a definition of a Skrewball. Skrewballs are black sheep as they are not afraid to stray away from the cliche things in life. I consider myself a black sheep regardless, the idea of a peanut butter flavored whiskey does not sound appealing. Im more of a peach flavored whiskey enthusiast.

How To Drink Peanut Butter Whiskey
Every time I try a fun spirit in a liquor store and bring a bottle home I face the same question that you do: what goes with peanut butter whiskey ?
Its a fact salespeople and marketers know: if we taste something were much more likely to buy it. Its why Costco was staffed with tasting stations before the pandemic.
And while that half-ounce of flavored whiskey in the liquor store tastes delicious, its a different story once you get a 750 mL home and wonder what to make with it. Here are some very simple peanut butter whiskey drink recipes to make at home:

How To Make This Skrewball Whiskey Recipe
Go ahead and make the sauce first by blending the peanut butter and corn syrup. You will need to use creamy peanut butter here, or smooth peanut butter. Dont use the natural kind which is either 100% peanuts or peanuts with a little salt. They are nowhere near as smooth as the creamy kind. You can keep the mixture at room temperature while you work on the chocolate whiskey drink.
Put some of the peanut butter sauce on the rim of a mug, letting it drip down the sides. Next warm the cream, sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter in a pan on the stove. Add the milk and warm it back up and then the chocolate chips.
You can use semisweet or dark chocolate chips as you prefer. I like the semisweet kind. White chocolate chips would work too. After all, this hot chocolate and whiskey cocktail is all about being sweet!
Keep warming it up until its hot but not boiling. As soon as you see a slow simmer take it off the heat and stir in the salt and peanut butter whiskey. Now you can pour it into a mug and add peanut butter sauce and crumbled cookies. This boozy salted peanut butter hot chocolate is so sweet and rich. Its perfect to warm you up when the weather is chilly.
Serve this Skrewball whiskey recipe as soon as youve made it. If you do want to make this chocolate whiskey drink ahead, just dont add the whiskey until you serve it.
