Sparkling Honey Bourbon Lemonade Video
Today, Im going outside the norm and am sharing a video with you instead of the typical post. Todays recipe is for Sparkling Honey Bourbon Lemonade which Karlynn and I fell in love with.
This stuff is good. Too good.
To prepare, fill a pitcher with about 6 cups of lemonade. Add in ½ cup of your favorite honey bourbon . Note: We went easy on the bourbon for some light afternoon drinking, but hey,you could add a cup. Or two. Add the bourbon until it suits your taste!
Now that you have the bourbon and the lemonade in the pitcher, add in about 100 ml of Limoncello. Or more if you want a serious lemon taste. Now add in one can of club soda, pour over ice in your favorite glasses and you are done.
I know were being mean showing you all of our amazing glasses. Its become a bit of an obsession when were traveling to stop by antique malls and collect these for recipes. These are some of my favorites. These are called Arabian nights and of course are impossible to find now! Look for them coming up in more photos!
Karlynn and I are preparing to head out to Florida to visit some of my customers and, since were in the area, hit Disney World because its Disney World and its close. This drink helps with the stress of preparing for a trip, especially since were driving. Yes, I know, were crazy driving from Edmonton to Florida but you knew that already.

This is a variation on the traditional sour with a modern twist. It was invented by T. J. Siegal for Milk & Honey in New York in the mid-2000s.
The cocktail combines bourbon, lemon juice, and honey syrup in a whiskey-laced concoction. We find that high-proof bourbon such as Old Grand-Dad Bonded works particularly well with this drink.
Note: To make honey syrup, mix one cup of water with one cup of honey in a small saucepan and place over medium heat. Stir continuously until the honey is dissolved and cool before using. The syrup will keep in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to five days.
Ingredients
- ¾ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ¾ ounce honey syrup
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker. Shake for about 10 seconds or until well-chilled. Strain into an ice-filled double old-fashioned glass.

Jack Daniels Gentleman Jack Neat / Cocktails
To remove unwanted flavors and contaminants, all Jack Daniels whiskeys are filtered through ten feet of charcoal made from sugar maple, before its put into barrels for maturing. Gentleman Jack is unique among Jack Daniels whiskeys as its also filtered afterwards, before being bottled.
Since its the charcoal filtering which gives Jack Daniels whiskeys their distinctive smoothness, being filtered twice makes Gentleman Jack even smoother. It does also tone down the flavors but for those who prefer that extra smoothness this is definitely good to drink neat.

What Is Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Made From
The Jack Daniel’s distillery released Tennessee Honey in 2011. While some like to call it “honey whiskey,” it is technically a whiskey liqueur because it is blended with flavorings and sweeteners.
As is common with whiskey liqueurs, the details of Tennessee Honey’s production and its ingredients are not fully disclosed. The base is the brand’s famous Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey, which is blended with a “proprietary honey liqueur.” It is noted that the liqueur is flavored with real honey.

When we entertain at the casa there are typically cocktails to go along with all the amazing food. The holidays this year were no different.
