What To Drink With Blueberry Vodka

Cold River Blueberry Vodka

How To Mix Blueberry Vodka

Cold River Blueberry Vodka is Cold Rivers one and only flavored vodka and has been for many years. Its made with the same care and attention to detail as their regular base vodka, and this shows. The entire process happens in one place where it can be carefully monitored and the quality of the final product is unmatched.

The vodka itself is made from potatoes grown in Maine, where the wild blueberries for each bottle are found as well. They steep the blueberries for five days to extract and trap their sweet, delicious essence which is then infused into their expertly-made potato vodka.

The profile is heavy on the blueberry, with soft, sweet, fresh aromas of blueberry muffins coming through on the nose. The palate follows with notes of fresh blueberries and a gentle, perfectly balanced sweetness that reminds you of a bakery with a bit of lavender in the background. Its a delightful, berry-charged experience every time and its even better when served on the rocks.

Making Boozy Pink Lemonade Punch Is Quick & Inexpensive

You have unexpected guests? Someone surprises you with a last minute event that you are expected to prepare for? Hosting a cookout? Keeping the budget low for a wedding or shower?

Our boozy pink punch gets the job done, and well, every time. If theres an Old Faithful of drink recipes, this is one of them.

Pink Lemonade Punch is even perfect for Valentines Day with its gorgeous pink color and classic flavor profile.

Its so easy to put together. You can multiply the recipe to serve by the pitcher like we did, or you can make it by the punch bowl or beverage dispenser.

And its so easy to make it work for those who want alcohol and those who dont. If you know youre serving people who dont drink, you can modify the recipe easily. Just leave out the alcohol and add the alcohol when its served.

Or make two beverage dispensers and mark them to indicate which one has booze and which one is a mocktail.

While Boozy Lemonade Punch is a workhorse recipe, its also just really darn good. Sometimes whats most simple is the best.

Hellodo you remember me? My name is Barb and when not cooking, grilling and making cocktails, I am a certified Gardenaholic! If youve notice my absence, or heck even if you havent, Ive been in the yard, the front, the back and in between! I did take a break today to make this Kentucky Peach Vodka Cocktail am I was ready to sit back for a minute and take it all in.

I moved into my home a bit over 4 years ago, so this is my fifth summer. Almost hard to believe I lived in my previous home for 23 years and when I moved the yard pictured above was nothing less than idyllic.

Thirty year old mature trees swaying in the breeze gardens filled with mature plantings and designed around a huge assortment of perennials. It was lovely and while I loved my home, leaving that garden is what Ive mourned the most.

I thought I would be happy with less and I was wrong. One day soon Ill share some before and after photos but one of the many things I did this year was finish this perennial bed in front. Where once was grass, now is flowers!

Ive had the sweetest boy up the street come help me the last couple of weekends Im sort of on my last legs. Even professional athletes take time to recuperate and Ive just kept after it every day.

Im beat but also exhilarated. It will never be my old garden because neighbors are SO close but its taking on a character that is feeling good. And I love it enough now that Ill be taking more photos outside too. This cocktail was the first!

How To Make The Blueberry Vodka Drink Recipe

In order to make the blueberry vodka recipe, you are going to have to do a few steps. These steps are quick, but they are all necessary in order to have the perfect blueberry lemon spritzer.

First, in a shaker or glass, combine the blueberry vodka, lemon juice, and agave and pour over ice to chill. In another glass or the top of your shaker, muddle the blueberries.

Next, you are going to strain the lemon/agave/blueberry vodka mixture from the ice and pour it over the muddled blueberries. The blueberry mixture now contains more liquid so you want to muddle again now that the vodka/lemon/agave is combined.

Next, you will strain the mixture one last time in order to separate the pulp and skin of the blueberries from the drink. You do not want the blueberry skins floating around for the sake of this spritzer.

Once you have strained the mixture, you will put it in a shaker and give it about 45 shakes. You will NOT combine it with the sparkling water. You do that after shaking since the water is carbonated.

After your 45 shakes, you will finally combine the muddled blueberries, blueberry vodka, agave, and lemon juice mixture and pour over the sparkling water of your choice!

Your final step is to garnish. I recommend garnishing with a skewer of blueberries and a lemon for color and flavor! Feel free to customize this blueberry vodka recipe based on your tastes once you have tried it this way one time!

Vodka was until recently, by legal definition, a flavorless, odorless spirit . Of course, fans of this clear spirit would disagree, arguing that each brand has different flavors depending on the grains used in the mash bill, how many times its been distilled, and what country it comes from. And vodka enthusiasts also know how well it works in a variety of cocktails, from the Moscow Mule to a Screwdriver to the humble Vodka & Tonic.

There are many different vodka mixers to choose from, ranging from simple flavored seltzer to a one-step Cosmopolitan combination of cranberry and lime juice. We spoke to some bar industry experts and gathered our own picks of the best vodka mixers that you can buy now.

    Lemon Blueberry Vodka Spritzer

First, mix up a batch of honey simple syrup. Making simple syrups is my favorite way to add my own touch to traditional cocktails and honey simple syrup is my #1 go-to.

It is so easy to make just combine 1 part water and 1 part honey in a small pan over low heat until the honey dissolves and a syrup is created. Let it cool and it is ready to be added to your drinks.

Next, add a dash of fruity fun with blueberry vodka. You can infuse your own if you have time or find it at the store. I usually buy mine and keep it on hand.

Combine the honey simple syrup, blueberry vodka and some ice in a shaker to chill it and strain everything into a glass filled with ice.

Top this sweet fruity combo with sparkling water.

I used the lemon flavored sparkling water for this drink but you could also try the lime, berry or blackberry flavors. If you want to offer your guests a little variety, buy one of each flavor and let your guests choose which flavor they want.

Garnish your drinks with lemon slices, fresh blueberries and a sprig of rosemary for a fun holiday touch.
