Spirytus Rektyfikowany is made by extracting ethanol from fermented carbohydrates. The Spirytus that we know today is produced using a combination of art and science, with each batch taking up to three months to produce.
The first step in making Spirytus Rektyfikowany is to extract the ethanol from fermented carbohydrates. This can be done using a variety of methods, but the most common method is to use a column still. Once the ethanol has been extracted, it is then redistilled and rectified multiple times until it reaches an alcohol content of 95%.
Once the Spirytus has been made, it is then cut with water to achieve the desired proof. The Spirytus Rektyfikowany that we know and love is typically cut to a proof of 40%, which is the perfect balance of flavor and alcohol.
How To Store Bacon Vodka
