It was bottled first in 2013 and introduced at a price of $2,000, but the price has more than doubled since then. The distillery has the distinction of being the first to begin operating in the United States in the 1700s, but it was closed during Prohibition in 1919.

To mark the rebirth of the distillery, and to commemorate the story, a special bottle was designed with a label of 24-karat gold letters. Each bottle was hand-filled, and the bottled Whiskey is listed as 116.8 proof!
