TIME AND QUALITY

Life is short. Make every moment count.

Make time for those who matter most to you. The ones that you can talk to all night til the sun comes up. The ones that are there for you, no matter what. We crafted this hand-selected bourbon in the hope that you may strengthen bonds, both new and old. Share memories and create new ones. Enjoy all that life has to offer.

ROOTED IN OUR TRADITION

We honor the distilling traditions of classic American bourbon.

Not settling for the minimum 51% corn in our mash bill, the standard throughout history, we have a whopping 65% corn in our bourbon. We, also, dialed up the rye to 22% this makes our bourbon high-rye content, delivering an extra helping of spice notes.

THE CRAFTED FOUR

Brothers Bond is the result of the artful blending of three distinctive mash bills to create our four-grain straight bourbon whiskey.

Each grain plays a part in making our bourbon exceptional. The corn adds sweetness and fruit notes. The rye adds spice and floral notes. The wheat adds bready softness to the texture. The barley rounds out the flavors with its nutty and caramel notes. Striking the right combination of flavors in perfect balance is not an easy feat.

We did it. You will love it.

The Best Bourbons Under $50

Broken Barrel Whiskey Co. California Oak Bourbon

Distilled in Kentucky, this high-rye release is finished using a mix of virgin French Oak staves and California Cabernet wine cask staves. The process has a noticeable and enjoyable influence on the final whiskey, imparting a prominent vanilla note and juicy red berry flavors. If youre a regular wine drinker looking to explore bourbon, this is the bottle for you. Average price: $31. Rating: 91.

Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

The eponymous release from the Buffalo Trace distillery, this expression remains among the most widely available and easily obtainable from the brand. That doesnt mean it should go overlooked, though. This is a solid entry-level bourbon with enjoyable caramel, brown sugar, and spice notes. It also performs valiantly when used in cocktails. Average price: $35. Rating: 91.

Hirsch Selected Whiskeys The Horizon

Hirsch combines a blend of two rye-forward Indiana-distilled bourbons for this release. The first, and majority component, is a little under 5 years old, while the second made from an even higher-rye mash bill is aged more than 6 and a half years. Unsurprisingly, rye is notable throughout, lending a black pepper spice to the nose and a sharp bite to the finish. Notes of red petals and dried cherries lend further complexity. Average price: $38. Rating: 92.

Distillation Process & Filtration

Somerhalder and Wesley are more than just the faces behind Brothers Bond they created this bourbon themselves.

After the pair filmed the end of the TV series in 2017, they spent time together off-screen. However, instead of reading scripts, they tested an ample assortment of mash bills, sourced quality ingredients, and took the time to study the long process of distilling bourbon.

They decided that the spirit would be double-distilled in copper columns and aged a minimum of four years in virgin American oak. Once its aged right, it is blended and mixed to achieve a bourbon with a great taste and an exceptionally smooth flavor.

Brothers Bond Bourbon Price In India

Bourbon whiskey is a type of American whiskey that is a barrel-aged distilled liquor made mainly from corn. The name comes from the French Bourbon dynasty, although it is still debated till today whether the Kentucky county or New Orleans Street inspired this whiskey’s name. Bourbon has been produced since the 18th century, but the name “Bourbon” was not used until the 1850s. You can find this liquor being made anywhere in the United States, but bourbon is strongly identified with the American South in general, and Kentucky in particular.

Bourbon has a long ageing process that allows for that great flavor you love. After maturing the bourbon in the process, the bourbon is taken from the barrel and usually diluted with water. The bourbon is then bottled to at least 80 US proof. Some higher-proof bottles are marketed as “barrel proof”, which means that they have not been diluted or have been only lightly diluted after removal from the barrels. Bourbon whiskey may be sold at less than 80 proof but must be labeled as “diluted bourbon”.

Bourbon can be served neat, diluted with water, over ice cubes, or mixed with juice or soda into delicious bourbon cocktails, including the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the whiskey sour, and the mint julep. Bourbon can also used in cooking. Buy whiskey online and use this versatile bourbon for many different things. Get out that bottle of bourbon for any occasion.

Field & Sound Bottled in Bond Bourbon Whiskey

Produced on Long Island, this high-rye bourbon utilizes locally grown grains and sweet mash fermentation. If the heavy maritime influence, prominently referenced on the bottles label, is at all detectable, its via subtle saline notes on the nose and finish. More abundant is the attractive spice of winter rye, and bold, heady vanilla and caramel notes on the palate. This is a great craft option. Average price: $50. Rating: 92.

Old Forester The 117 Series 1910 Extra Old

Old Foresters 1910 Old Fine Whisky sees a secondary period of maturation in heavily charred oak barrels. This, the third release in the distillerys limited-edition The 117 Series, offers drinkers a glimpse at how that whiskey evolves with an extra 18 months in oak. Pouring a deep shade of maple, it exudes dark sugar and chocolate aromas, and delivers rich doses of caramel on the palate. Available from late February onward, this gift-shop and online exclusive merits the extra effort to seek out. MSRP: $50. Rating: 93.

Angels Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished In Port Wine Barrels

Bookers Bourbon 2021-04 Noe Strangers Batch

The fourth and final 2021 release from Bookers, this iteration was aged for 6 years, 6 months, and 12 days, and arrives at a dizzying 62.2 percent ABV. As with all cask-strength bourbons, it proves to be a heady, in-your-face experience, though not one that lacks nuance or complexity. Fruity, floral notes take charge on the intense nose, while the palate leans into baked desserts and rich caramel. Dont be afraid to add a splash of water. Average price: $113. Rating: 93.

Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon Whiskey

The 30 Best Bourbons For Every Budget

Bourbon continues to rank among the most popular distilled spirits in the United States and its not just sales seeing a spike. As the number of producers in the country goes from strength to strength, so too does the range of styles in the category, with distillers turning to innovative fermentation and aging techniques, as well as left-field grains to stand out.

The tasting for VinePairs 2022 edition of our annual bourbon roundup offered great insight into how broad and deep the category has grown. Among the more than 150 bottles considered, we sampled brands from across the country, and encountered more craft expressions than ever before.

Speaking of craft, a large portion of the bottles considered this year came from independent brands that source their whiskey from Indiana . While this practice has been looked down upon by some in the past, the majority of brands employing that strategy now are increasingly transparent about their whiskeys origins. Producers in that field who made it onto this list did so by taking the spirit in a new direction via a finishing technique or proprietary aging process, or by blending with their own whiskey and achieving harmonious results.

With all that said, here are 30 of the best bourbons to drink in 2022.

While they might have waved goodbye to The Vampire Diaries in 2017, the pair continued to spend a lot of time together. But instead of learning lines and reading scripts, they were sampling mash bills, sourcing local ingredients and preparing for world takeover, whiskey style.

And, rather than sticking to a simple 51% corn in their mash bill , the founders stepped it up a notch to a whopping 65% corn.

The result? A sweeter, robust bourbon, heavy with the notes of honey and fruits that take Brothers Bond from being any old bourbon to one thats approachable and welcoming, even for newbies.

What Does It Taste Like

When we put the spirit to our lips, the first thing that came to our mind was baked banana bread, dried fruit, and orange honey. This had quite an approachable quality no wonder the brand sold 50,000 standard cases within the first four months of its launch!

The 65 percent corn in the mash bill contributed to a spirit that was the combination of sweetness and fruit notes. It has subtle floral notes and a distinct spiciness for a harmonious balance. We would assume that its bread-like quality came from the wheat.

Overall, this premium, hand-selected batch was a pleasant surprise. You can tell that each grain plays a part in this special bourbons complex and balanced flavor.

How To Drink Brothers Bond Bourbon

Brothers Bond was designed to bring people together, to encourage closer bonds and to celebrate the people who mean most to you. So drinking this bourbon should encapsulate all of those things, preferably at the same time.

Therell be no silent sipping around the fire with Brothers Bond: instead, it should be enjoyed liberally over loud conversations, funny stories from the past and long-awaited meet-ups with your childhood friends.

Still, you dont want to wave goodbye to all bourbon traditions while drinking Brothers Bond: youll still want to get the most out of this spirit. Which means starting with the correct glassware.

A brandy snifter is the preferred glassware for bourbon , but a rocks glass will do just as well for drawing out the sweet, honeyed, spiced aromas of this spirit. Its good enough to be enjoyed straight but also works well served on the rocks.

The important thing is to serve Brothers Bond at the right temperature, which is room temperature or just below. You want the whiskey to be gently warmed enough to taste each of the unique notes. Its also a brilliant whiskey for cocktails, especially when served in batches surrounded by your favorite people.
