Its time for a signature summer cocktail! This vodka recipe is the perfect balance of sweet and sour, plus a hit of carbonation for bubbly fun.
I was recently inspired to set up a small party scene in honor of the Fourth of July. The attendees included a four-year-old, one-year-old, and moi.
Trying to orchestrate photos with two small children is a gamble, but in this instance it paid off. Here are a few colorful scenes inspired by this recipe development
As is customary, cupcakes were provided as bribery.
I made the tassel garland from an old bedsheet cut up into strips. It took me maybe 30-45 minutes to make.

How To Make Pink Lemonade Margarita
Dip rim of margarita glass in lemon juice, followed by sugar.
Add all ingredients
and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
Pour cocktail mixture into prepared glass.
Garnish rim with lemon slice, strawberry, and mint sprig.
Serve
- Lemon juice and sugar for rim
- 6ozraspberry or strawberry lemonade
- 2oztequila
- 1ozSmirnoff pink lemonade vodka
- Lemon wedgestrawberry slice, and mint sprig for garnish
Ingredients To Make Pink Lemonade Punch
- 1/2 cup Pink Lemonade Mix
- 2 Liters Club Soda
- 4 Tbsp. Grenadine
- Optional: 1/2 cup Lemon Flavored Vodka
- 4 Maraschino Cherries, for garnish
We used regular Lemonade Mix for this drink.
You may also substitute Sugar-Free Lemonade Mix too if you would like to reduce the calories or sugar.
If you dont want to use alcohol in the recipe at all, you can simply omit the vodka altogether.
It still mixes up just great!

Pink Lemonade Vodka Slushies Recipe Preparation In A Slushie Machine
Step 1Put pink lemonade concentrate, 2 cups of vodka and a full bottle of Sprite into a slushie machine.
Step 2Use the mixing function to mix all the ingredients and combine them together.
Step 3Cover the top of your slushie machine with the lid and use the SLUSH mode on the side of the Margaritaville Tahiti or the slushie machine youll be using to prepare the recipe.
Step 4Give the slush machine about 3-5 minutes to do its thing and turn the liquid into delicious slush, feeling excited yet?
Step 5As soon as you get the desired slushie texture from the machine, turn the slushie maker off and serve the drinks to your guests immediately.
Remember this is a frozen drink, the longer you wait the faster itll melt, thus we recommend that you either serve immediately or use the PRESERVE function on the slushie machine to prevent the slushies from melting.

How To Make Pink Vodka Lemonade
If you want to make the basic pink vodka lemonade, all you have to do is add all of the ingredients to a pitcher or bowl and serve!
If you want to be fancier, you can muddle some herbs such as rosemary and thyme in the bottle of a shaker and then mix it with the liquor and pour it into the bowl to add more flavoring!
Now, you have two options! You can use either sprite for a lemonade flavor and use no actual lemonade! It will give you that bubbly flavor.
Personally, I dont love sparkling drinks so I would not make this my first choice, but others love a sparkling pink vodka lemonade!
Or, you can squeeze your own fresh lemonade. That is how to get the pale look like in the images here.
Fresh squeezed lemonade is a much paler color than the kind you get at the store which has dye in it.
Finally, you can use lemonade from the store! Simple and easy peasy.
This pink vodka lemonade recipe uses a blend of mainly vodka and rum to flavor additionally. Feel free to use flavored rum for an added kick!
I like to use a splash of cranberry juice to help get the pink color.
You can add as little or as much cranberry juice as you want! You may want to add only the tiniest splash to get very pale pink drinks. If you want to go this route, only start with 1-2 tablespoons and see if you like it and then add more!
The more cranberry juice you add the darker pink your pink vodka lemonade will be!

I love easy cocktails and this is one of those perfect 2 ingredient vodka drinks. Of course, sprucing it up with fresh fruit really adds to the presentation. If you have the time, taking a few extra minutes to include the fruit is worth it.
