I love a refreshing lemonade, especially in the summer. Last week I shared a Deep Eddy spiked lemonade mimosa.

Since this week is #lemonweek, I thought I would share a lemonade vodka spritzer. Im all about quick and easy recipes and this checks all the boxes.

Keto Sweeteners For Sugar Free Vodka Cocktails

To make this vodka lemonade cocktail sugar-free we add keto approved sweeteners.

I recommend using a powdered keto sweetener, especially if you are making the vodka and lemonade over the rocks. The Confectioners sweetener dissolved better than the granulated form.

Any sugar alternative will work in this vodka drink recipe. You can use monk fruit, erythritol or stevia. The two powdered sweeteners that I like to use are Lakanto and Swerve. Swerve measures cup for cup with sugar however, Lakanto powdered monk fruit is 2x as sweet as sugar, so you will only need to add about 1/4 cup Lakanto powdered monk fruit.

If you use Korbel Extra Dry champagne, there are 105 calories, 2 carbs and 2 sugars in a 5 oz serving.

So, if you use the Calypso Light Lemonade in this recipe and a small glass, youll only have 6 sugars which makes it a lot lower in carbs.

Blended Or On The Rocks

You can enjoy this keto cocktail either blended or on the rocks.

If you love blended drinks, I recommend investing in high powered blender. This will pulverize your ice to create a smooth slushy cocktail. The blender I use is a BlendTec. But you can use any blender to makes your boozey lemonade slushy.

To serve over ice, add ice to a cocktail glass. Follow by 2 oz. of vodka and 6 oz. of sugar free lemonade. Stir and enjoy!
