Sampled neat in a Glencairn at a restaurant.Nose: lots of barrel notes, but not overpowering, maybe strawberry.Palate: aged agave goodness, caramel, vanilla. It has some texture, as well, which is a bit different.Finish: short to medium, some alcohol, no agave, but more oak.
Oak and caramel on the nose. Im tasting oak, cinnamon, caramel, honey, dried apricot, and cognac. Easy drinking XA for a reasonable price.
A light straw color. Nose of oak, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, and cooked agave. Sweet across the palate, caramel comes through with some cinnamon spice. The finish is a combination of baking spices , vanilla, and a noticeable alcohol bite. The flavors linger for a good while afterwards.
Nose of lime zest, vegetal and citrusy, with a clean minerality to it. Taste of sweet cooked agave, quite mild, but very clean with a nice consistency. Ends on a finish of spice and pepper, with some alcohol bite to it. Leaves a pleasant warmth, and the flavors on the finish linger for quite a while.

A deeper amber, bourbon-like color. The nose is a blend of spice, with deeper aromas of oak and caramel. Oak is very present in the flavor, mixed with caramel, oven-cooked agave, and a mix of cinnamon and nutmeg. Also has a nice velvety consistency. The finish accentuates the flavors of oak, vanilla, and caramel, with a nice tequila-agave burn at the end that lingers on after. Tastes like the freshly cooked samples of agave hearts and pencas from the distillery. One of the best extra añejos on the market for the price, a real treat that wont break the bank.
