Peanut Butter Whiskey Dessert Cocktails
Dessert cocktails don’t necessarily have to be sweet or creamy. Sometimes all it takes is the suggestive flavor or reminder of dessert. If you prefer your drinks not as sweet, you can omit or use a smaller amount of any sweeter ingredients to suit your taste preference. You also have the option of incorporating different flavors of bitters, such as chocolate, walnut, almond, or cherry.
Drunken Peanut Butter Vodka Shot
This recipe is very simple that doesn’t take hours to make but packs quite a punch. It starts by putting peanut butter in the bottom of an empty shot glass and then pouring vodka on top–the amount needed will depend on how strong you want it so start with about one tablespoon before deciding if more is needed after this has been poured out, then stir together gently to create your drink for consumption!

- Skrewball Peanut Butter Whisky: Its widely available at retailers, restaurants, and bars across the country.
- Raspberry Liquor: There are several options here. Chambord is a popular black raspberry liqueur that can be found in most modern bars. You may also use Framboise, a raspberry-flavored brandy. Non-alcoholic substitutes include raspberry or grape juice, syrup or jam. If using a jam or jelly, zap it in the microwave until it becomes liquid. Consider adjusting the amount of whisky you use based on the alcoholic content of your raspberry flavoring.
Does Coke Go With Whiskey
Its a hit with young drinkers because the taste of the whiskey gets diluted in ten ounces of cola. The other notes from the whiskey blend in with the Coke, but theyre still there. But the strongest flavor is definitely the cola. And that makes this a very enjoyable drink for anybody who likes the flavor of cola.

Chocolate Covered Pretzel And Peanut Butter Cup Cocktail
This peanut butter whiskey cocktail recipe is a little different because it includes chocolate and other sweet ingredients.
Combine ingredients honey, milk or cream, vanilla extract, sugar , ice cubes, and either vodka or bourbon whiskey in a blender the result should be about one cup total when blended together.
Next you’ll want to break into two twelve ounce bags of pretzels–these can be any type as long as they’re plain salt varieties . Once there’s been some mixing around so that both types are coated in this mixture from the blender then add in an equal amount of chopped up Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups – these need to be small enough to fit into the gaps between the pretzel pieces. You can also use any other type of peanut butter if desired, but then you’ll need to increase this amount by one tablespoon since it’s such a rich and dense ingredient as opposed to something like chocolate that melts in your mouth quickly.
Pour everything from the blender onto a large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil bake for 12-15 minutes at 350°F–the result should be golden brown when ready! Allow them to cool before serving, though they’re delicious best served warm so don’t wait too long until after taking them out of the oven either.
To make these even richer try adding two tablespoons dark cocoa powder to the mixture before baking as well.

What Is Peanut Butter Whiskey
With flavored whiskies all the rage lately , its useful to consider how we got here. Back before you could buy pb-flavored liqueur already made, bartenders and mixologists were using a process called fat washing to combine the delicious, nutty beauty that is peanut butter with bourbon and whiskey.
Many bourbons and whiskies have nutty notes both in the nose and flavor. Combining those together is a natural match.
In fat washing, a food product full of fat, like peanut butter, bacon fat, or browned butter is combined with whiskey, left to sit for a few hours, then moved to a freezer for 24 hours until the solids from the fat have frozen at the top of the container. The mixture is strained through a fine-mesh sieve, then a coffee filter until the resulting whiskey is flavorful but translucent.
Fat washing adds both flavor and mouthfeel to a spirit. Whiskey becomes creamier and more viscous and with something like peanut butter as the flavoring agent, it reminds me of taking a huge bite of a pb sandwich with the feel of it thick throughout the mouth.
With the current brands commercially available, the liqueurs have tilted to the sweet side of the spectrum, and although they are full of peanut butter flavor they dont have quite the depth of flavor of a naturally fat-washed whiskey. With the peanut butter whiskies Ive tried I get a lot of butterscotch on the nose, and a lot of very sweet peanut flavors.
