The Same Consistent Quality Since Its First Production
In 1795 pioneer Jacob Beam sold his first barrel of Kentucky bourbon. While Jacob laid the foundation for an enduring family business that has lasted through even the hardships of Prohibition, it was Colonel James B. Beam, or âJimâ â the namesake behind Jim Beam â who personally rebuilt the familyâs distillery, by hand, in just 120 days after the repeal in 1933.

Frequently Asked Questions & Expert Tips
Can I make this iced tea cocktail in a pitcher ahead of time?
Absolutely! You can make the tea 3-4 days in advance, but you could also mix in the amount of whiskey youll need and store it in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. The recipe calls for 1 1/2 oz of whiskey per glass. Do not add ice to the tea and whiskey mixture, save that for your individual serving glasses so it doesnt get watered down. Id suggest making it one day in advance before your planned get-together. When ready to serve, just give it a good stir and youre ready to go.

Jim Beam Honey Bourbon Whiskey

Jim Beam is always a solid choice for standard bourbons. Their Honey Bourbon cuts their bourbon with real honey liqueur and a few natural flavors. The result is an easy sipper that wont break the bank.
Honey. This is probably the sweetest honeyed whiskey on the list. Thats not necessarily a bad thing but it can be off-putting to some. The classic bourbon notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak are present with a hint of spice. The honey does really carry the sip from the top to bottom with a clear sweet edge.
This works nicely in cocktails, in the sense that you can omit using simple syrup if youre using this.
Honey Whiskey Apple Cider
When we entertain at the casa there are typically cocktails to go along with all the amazing food. The holidays this year were no different. We had family and friends in and out for two weeks, so of course the drinks were flowing. We are an easy couple to shop for a good bottle of wine or our favorite whiskey and we are happy people! My mother-in-law knows this so when she showed up for Christmas she had several bottles in tow. One of those was a bottle of honey whiskey for Mr. B. He loves the sweet, smooth taste. One afternoon when temperatures hit close to freezing, I decided I wanted to dip into the bottle but I wasnt in the mood to sip straight whiskey so we whipped up a batch of Honey Whiskey Apple Cider instead! The kid ran down to the corner store for a bottle of fresh apple cider, not apple juice! A apple slices, little fresh squeezed lemon juice, a bit of honey, some cinnamon sticks and we were in business. Everything went into the crockpot for a few hours and it was heavenly. The smell alone was amazing, that warm spicy scent of winter and it tasted like apple pie! Enjoy~ the new Mrs. B

Wild Turkey American Honey Sting

Wild Turkeys American Honey is often lauded as the best-flavored whiskey on the market. This expression takes that well-crafted blend of Wild Turkey bourbon and honey and ups the ante by adding a dash of ghost pepper. Its kind of ingenious and works.
Theres a sense of honey thats bolstered by sprigs of fresh mint and fields of wildflowers on the nose. The ghost pepper lurks in the background until you take a sip and it bites at your tongue. Its never over-powering whatsoever and the matrix of bourbon vanilla, caramel, and oak with that fresh mint and honey makes for a great combination of flavors that linger on your senses.
Try this one on the rocks and then give it a good spot in your regular bottle rotation.
Honey Whiskey Lemonade Cocktail
A delicious whiskey cocktail that blends sweet and citrus perfectly. Learn how to make a honey whiskey lemonade drink to share and enjoy at home.
Honey and whiskey have always made an exceptional pair. The sweet taste of honey blends beautifully with the cozy warmth of whiskey. However, the advent of honey whiskey, all in one bottle no need to mix, is fairly new. These days you can find ample varieties of honey whiskey readily available and each one carries its own unique flavor.
Honey whiskey tends to be sweet and can be enjoyed neat or over ice without the addition of any mixers. But dont stop there, this blend does make for a great cocktail base! Try it blended with iced tea or give todays simple recipe a try, honey whiskey lemonade.
This cocktail has its roots in a traditional whiskey sour. A cocktail made with whiskey, a sour component like lemon juice and sweet taste brought in with sugar or simple syrup. Blending a warm liquor like whiskey with citrus and a bit of sweet creates a delicious cocktail. The key is getting the ratio of whiskey and lemon correct so the flavors compliment each other and one does not overpower the other.

Foolproof Whisky And Honey Cocktails
July 28, 2020 | Jake Emen
From classics like Drambuiea liqueur of scotch, honey, herbs, and spicesto honey and whisky mash-ups from Jack Daniel, Crown Royal, Jim Beam, and Bushmills, whisky and honey are the bees knees. The flavors of honey and whisky, particularly bourbon, were just meant to go together, says Erick Castro, co-founder of Simple Serve and head man behind projects such as San Diegos Polite Provisions bar and the documentary series Bartender at Large.
As a natural product with a range of types and intriguing characteristics, honey isnt just one flavor, but many. One of the coolest things about mixing cocktails with honey is that there are so many varieties out there to choose from, says Castro. I would generally try to pair honey varietals with complementary flavors, as opposed to contrasting flavors, but depending on what is in the drink there are really no rules.
The key to deploying honey is to get it into a stable form so you can actually mix it in drinks. Before its cut with water, honey, in its pure form, is pretty much unmixable, Castro says. The solution is to first thin the honey with water so it mixes like a sucrose-based simple syrup. I recommend cutting it with hot water, two parts honey to one part water, so it is much more practical to mix with, advises Castro. Simply heat water and honey over low heat in a saucepan and stir until well mixed. Cool before use and store in the refrigerator for up to one month.

Jim Beam Honey Liqueur Review
Jim Beam Honey
Before flavored whiskeys like Fireball and Bird Dog caught on, the bourbon honey liqueurs started coming back. Wild Turkey is the grandfather in this category, having had a fine honey liqueur in production since 1978, only lately rebranded American Honey. Yet these days it seems every big whiskey brand has a honey liqueur of some sort, including Jack Daniels, Bushmills, and Jim Beam.
Part of what drove the rise of honey liqueur is the same factor that sucked rye whiskey off the shelves a few years ago, namely the demand of creative bartenders working their cocktail magic. So for a whiskey drinker, the question about honey liqueurs is whether they are good on their own or with a little ice, or are they strictly mixology material?
The answer for Wild Turkeys American Honey is yes, its great neat or on ice, but that cannot be said for all of them. Alas, Jim Beam Honey falls into the mixology material end of the spectrum.
The LiqueurAs a liqueur, Jim Beam Honey falls below the whiskey-minimum 80 proof line, with an abv of 35% . In the glass, the liquid has that solid gold coloring that is the standard for drinks of this category.
The nose is very simple: it has that corn husk scent I expect to find only in corn whiskey and very young bourbon, plus a spoonful of honey. Those two smells have a good old country feel to them, so its not unpleasant, but it speaks to a youthful sort of whiskey product.

Start with a glass full of ice and add 1-2 shots of honey whiskey. This is a sipping drink so make it strong and enjoy every slow sip. Top with equal parts unsweetened iced tea and lemonade then garnish with a slice of lemon.
You can make your own iced tea using your favorite tea bags, you can also mix fresh lemon juice with sugar and water for a delicious lemonade. But if you are like me you are probably reaching for this honey whiskey iced tea after a long day, so feel free to cut a few corners and use premade mixers. In fact, Im a fan of this organic half tea half lemonade drink. Just add this to your honey whiskey and your drink is complete.
