Hennessy Paradis Extra Rare Cognac is perfectly harmonious in the mouth and reveals itself to be smooth, full-bodied and long-lasting on the palate. A blend of over 100 ‘eaux-de-vie’ and aged alongside other great ‘eaux-de-vie’s of its generation. Paradis is the realisation of a dream by its creator, Maurice Fillioux, using spirit blended by his grandfather. The tradition continues today to select spirits that will taste every bit as powerful and elegant in 4 generations time.

A History Of Hennessy
The legacy of Hennessy began in 1765, when Irishman Richard Hennessy decided to take it upon himself to creating one of the worlds finest Cognacs after serving in the French army under the command of Louis XV. Throughout its history, it has established itself as one of the leading cognac houses in its ability to innovate time and time again.
During the nineteenth century, Hennessy pioneered the original VSOP cognac benchmark, after having been asked by King George IV to create a very superior old Cognac.
It was also loved world-over in Russia and China, as French culture was transported to other worlds. Since Maurice Hennessy followed suit with the creation of the Extra Old , Hennessy has since set the global standard for the classification of Cognacs. Now, the maison are in possession of the largest reserve of eaux-de-vie in the world, with approximately 350,000 casks.
The master blenders have refined their techniques of blending through generations of heritage through the Fillioux family. Their goal now, is to continue innovating into the future by creating high quality blends popular with both young and older generations.

Hennessy Paradis Rare Cognac is the product of more than 200 different cognacs that have been aged in Hennessys cellars for up to a century.
The cognacs are blended and allowed to age slowly in old oak casks, a process that gives Hennessy Paradis its rare, fine aroma and golden color.
The taste is characterized by flavorful fruits such as pear, apricot, and raisin, with rose, iris, and lily floral accents. This exceptional cognac should be enjoyed neat in a crystal tulip glass.

Hennessy Paradis Extra Rare Cognac 700mL is a blend of over one hundred very old “eaux-de-vie” from Cognacs finest growing regions. They matured amongst the most remarkable collection of rare “eaux-de-vie” in the world. Hennessy Paradis was created in 1979 by Maurice Fillioux. He chose to blend “eaux-e-vie” which had been selected by his grandfather. Today, Yann Fillioux, his family’s 7th generation Master Blender stores aside “eaux-de-vie” which might be used by his great great grandchildren. This continuity over generations ensures the unrivalled greatness of this exceptional cognac.
