Don Chendo Destilado De Agave Anejo

Don Chendo Anejo is produced at Rancho Verano, a small distillery just outside of Puerto Vallarta. The Don Chendo products are 100% Agave and produced similar to Tequila, but they use the Green Agave instead of the Blue Agave. By using a different species of Agave, they are only allowed to call their product “Destilado de Agave”.

Where Can I Buy Don Chendo Tequila In The Us

It seems very unlikely that you can buy this in the US. It does not sound as if it is produced in enough quantity to export. They certainly do not have a web site, and neither does the distillery that supposedly makes it.

I suggest you try a specialty Tequila forum and ask there. But unless you have heard of it being sold here, I doubt you will find any. There are a vast number of liquors produced around the world and relatively few are imported.

I was just down there about a week ago and we asked where in the US we could buy it. They stated that their stuff isn’t imported/distributed in the US. The only way you can get it is by going to PV and buy it at one of the tasting shops or directly at their distillary.

The only other way I can think of would be to buy it off someone who brought some back with them. Our tequila guide did say that they are working on getting it to the US just that it will take some time. Then again, that was after few shots.

We signed up for their email list so hopefully we will be informed on the success of getting the product in the US. If you do go down there definately go check it out. Make sure you take the tour that takes you to the distillary and not a tasting shop.It is educational and a smashing good time.

This extra anejo is extremely smooth from start to finish making this my new number one fav! Super smooth, rich and complex with lots of caramel, vanilla, toffee and oak. Truly an excellent agave experience.

Similar to Don Julio 1942 in flavor, but slightly sweeter. Less alcohol bite on the finish than 1942. Almost too easy to drink.

Initial taste and going down are both excellent with a slight fruity taste
