They can be tasted neat, and people who dont like 80 proof spirits neat might enjoy them that way, but basically theyre for use with mixers.
All three have certain things in common. Each bottling has two main ingredients, and the one named first is the predominant one. The one named second is more of a hint and balance in the background, a touch of subtlety. They also have no artificial flavors, no sweeteners, no GMO grain, and zero carbs in the bottle. Ketel One simply on a pedistal of its own. This is an example of a delicious smooth vodka that has only been slightly affected by the designer vodka movement of the late 1990s early 2000s. When I think of vodka I think of Ketel One. This vodka is smooth with a pinch of earthiness that reminds you that flavor matters just as much as smoothness. This vodka is not only properly distilled but its consestint with its a flavor all the way through. I highly suggest making Ketel One one of your best vodkas in your personal bar collection.

According to the U.S. distilled spirits categorizations, vodka must be without distinctive character, aroma, taste or color, and must contain at least 40% alcohol-by-volume .
The Botanicals have an ABV of 30% and are made by distilling fruit and herbal essential oils.
Flavored vodkas add ingredients to grain alcohol, but they dont re-distill them. Remember, the higher the ABV, the more calories your drink has , and the increased likelihood of you texting your ex in the middle of the night.
But the Ketel One Botanicals are at least classified as a spirit. And that definitely counts for something!

I already had everything on hand for Ketel Ones recommended bees knees cocktail and as a fan of old sayings, this was definitely the one for me. It calls for Ketel Ones Botanical peach & orange blossom, lemon juice, honey and chilled chamomile tea. While I usually drink chamomile tea and honey on its own before bed, I would have never thought it could be made better with vodka.
If youve ever had chamomile, you know it can be pretty strong. In this drink, however, the peach and orange in the vodka muddle the chamomile flavor, so its a nice mix and not overpowering with either flavor. It honestly didnt even taste like alcohol to me. It is definitely being added to my list of go-to cocktails! Heres the full recipe:
