Aew Brandi Rhodes Action Figures

/10 Legacy Wwe Action Figures

AEW SUPREME 1 CODY RHODES FIGURE REVIEW!

The first big angle that Cody Rhodes was involved in was in a faction with Randy Orton and Ted Dibiase Jr. in the group Legacy. All of its members were brought up in the industry, and the group was a dominant force on Raw every Monday. Under the leadership of Randy Orton, Cody was brought to new heights and also got a taste for playing the villain.

Young fans would have needed to buy the pack when Legacy debuted to complete their set with the trio of top heels. Now older fans who are looking to improve a Cody collection want to find the figure that came out along with Cody’s first quite impressive brush with the main event. The figure also looks great compared to some later Cody figures adding to its appeal.

/10 Best: Rhodes Brothers

Sometimes some specific moments and matches deserve to get special attention. The bout between Dustin and Cody Rhodes in AEW is one of those, which is what makes these action figures so cool and unique.

The figures are focused on their Double Or Nothing 2019 bout. This was a bloody encounter, and the fact that the figures feature that is fantastic. While they might not be to the taste of younger fans, these are figures that most people would want in their collection.

/10 Blood Brothers: Cody & Dustin Rhodes’ Double Or Nothing Figures

A pair of Rhodes figures commemorate one of the greatest matches in AEW history. The battle of the brothers from AEW Double or Nothing 2019 is an iconic moment from the young company’s past. They expertly told a story that the largest promotion in the world failed to write on several occasions.

The figures feature superb detail, including the proverbial “crimson mask” as Jim Ross bellowed from behind the commentary desk. The figures look fantastic, and because they represent such a singular moment in AEW history, let alone one that may never happen again, the double pack feels even more special.

/10 Wwe Adrenaline Series 29 With Dusty Rhodes

One of the earliest Cody figures and one where he is sporting his green trunks debut attire is also the first and only Cody figure where he appears with one of the late legends that WWE has lost, the iconic Dusty Rhodes. Dusty Rhodes is one of the best talkers in the history of wrestling, and his captivating style has lived on through his kids and contributions to NXT.

Cody’s gimmick has always been linked to his family name where he has competed, and this action figure represents the moment when Dusty passed the torch on WWE television. The models are unique, making it an excellent collector’s item, and getting two figures for the price of one is always beneficial.

Brandi Rhodes Reveals She’s Had No Say Over Action Figures Details Her Role As Cbo

Brandi Rhodes says that while she does wear many hats as the Chief Brand Officer of AEW, the action figures are out of her control.

Brandi Rhodes was the first female to get an AEW action figure and in the time since, many women have not gotten action figures. This has become especially a talking point with Brett Baker, the first female who was signed to the promotion.

While Brandi Rhodes is the CBO of the promotion and works out many of the business partnerships and licensing deals including the highly-touted relationship the promotion has with KultureCity, the brand that concerns inclusivity as it relates to individuals with autism and other sensory issues.

Speaking on The Hot Tag with Izzy, Brandi Rhodes detailed the strenuous nature of her job, how she handles wearing multiple hats for the company while also being pregnant and breaks stells the truth regarding her involvement with the Jazwares action figures.

It’s definitely a delicate balance. I think a lot of people have no idea what my role is as the Chief Brand Officer. It’s like a catch-all role to a lot of people, like if something went wrong, it must have been the Chief Brand Officer. For most people, I’m just like the catch-all for a lot of the nonsense and the complaints they have. But in reality, it’s a really, really strenuous job.

/10 Mattel Super Star Entrance Series Mustache Cody

Cody Rhodes redebuted at WrestleMania 38 and shot to the top of WWE’s roster, but the closest he came to the world title before his return was in the early 2010s as “Mustache Cody.” While the mustache itself was a look met with mixed reactions from fans, 2012-2014 was undoubtedly the best Cody period in WWE, with memorable feuds against the likes of Damien Sandow.

The Entrance Series Figure is one of only two figures to feature Rhodes’s mustache look. This would make the figure unique enough for collectors while being a solid figure for one of SmackDown’s most popular stars from the era. Mustache Cody was also one of his only extended runs as a face in WWE, so young fans would have probably lined up to get one.

/10 Worst: The Young Bucks

The Young Bucks have had several action figures released throughout their AEW careers, due to the fact they are top names on the roster. Some have been brilliant, but their original figures were not as good, mainly because the skin tones were slightly off with them.

While there was a lot of attention placed on their ring gear, making them look brilliant. The same wasn’t given to their faces, which just feel a little flat and emotionless in comparison to other toys that have been created.

/10 Aew Unrivaled Collection 1 Cody

Brandi Rhodes with Dustin Rhodes vs Red Velvet | AEW Dark 9/15/20

The original AEW action figure, Cody Rhodes, was the first action figure in AEW’s original toy line, which excited fans and was a sign that the company was here to stay. The line was hyped quite a bit, and the outcome and the figures did not disappoint. The series also includes his wife Brandi Rhodes, so Cody and Brandi could share this together.

For AEW collectors, the original Cody from the first Unrivaled collection is a must-have. AEW’s younger fans would probably have needed the figure as well, with Rhodes being the company’s biggest star at the time. The design was great, and its release capitalized on the success of the new promotions building momentum back in 2020.

/10 Worst: Hangman Adam Page

There have been a couple of releases for Hangman Page so far, but it has yet to feel quite right for the current AEW World Champion. While there will no doubt be improvements made moving forwards, at the moment it remains one of the weaker figures.

While there is tons of detail placed on the ring gear and the props, the same cannot be said for his face. Hangman’s hair has always seemed slightly off in comparison to how he looks, while his expressions and eyes don’t look right either.

Aew Cody & Brandi Rhodes React To Their New Action Figures At Toy Fair 2020

Jazwares and Wicked Cool Toys came together like the “Mega Powers”‘ and drop kicked attendees of the New York Toy Fair 2020. Action figures are on the way to representAll Elite Wrestling, which is still in its first year of television production. As a new and competitive wrestling brand, it’s important to have a line of toys on the market. Wrestling and action figures have gone hand-in-hand for more than 30 years now. For many wrestlers, having one feels like a right of passage and only serves to cement their legacy and brand. It lets fans know which talent will be around for a long time to come.

Newsweek had the opportunity to speak with Executive VP Cody Rhodes and Chief Brand Officer Brandi Rhodes from All Elite Wrestling to discuss the importance of having toys come to the market this summer.

“It comes together so quickly because we have the right partners,” says Brandi. “Wicked Cool Toys and Jazwares have been on it, and you can tell they’re very passionate about the details, and they’re passionate about us liking everything.” There was a lot of interest from various companies wanting to do business. So conversations started quickly to produce an action figure line. “I’m shocked at how quickly it has become a real thing, as in summer 2020, people can have these in their hands,” says Brandi with an air of excitement.

Brandi Rhodes Comments On Being The First Female Action Figure In Aew

AEW Chief Brand Officer Brandi Rhodes was on a recent episode of Busted Open, where she talked about AEW’s new Unrivaled Series of action figures. She commented on being the only female action figure.

“First action figure was teased like a carrot dangling in front of Bugs Bunny for many, many years about an action figure, but here we are, and she’s stunning. She’s so pretty,” Rhodes remarked. “Little Bran Bran is what we call her.”

Dustin Rhodes gave a heartfelt reaction when he found out he would be getting his own action figure. Brandi talked about her reaction to seeing kids receiving their action figures from their parents.

“Honestly, it’s something that if you were to tell me 10 years ago I would have an action figure in the store, I would have never believed it. But today when I’m seeing these kids opening these packages, and their parents bringing them home and giving their kid the sheer joy, I’m not surprised at all because if I was a kid again and I knew what I was going to be 20 years from now, I would have pre-ordered years ago the action figures for me because that’s better than any Barbie I ever had,” Rhodes said. “You know, the Barbies used to seem so promising and I would get them. And then, the next day, I accidentally cut their heads off. And, you know, they’re not as cute anymore.

Rhodes carries many roles in AEW, including her title as Chief Brand Officer. She spoke on her roles in AEW and her desire to win and to achieve success.

/10 The Stardust Wwe Elite Series 36

Go Figure Collectables

Cody’s time as Stardust is not fondly remembered by the performer, the company, or the fans. So it’s unsurprising that the gimmick that ended Cody’s first stint in WWE doesn’t get a lot of mentions online when fans discuss the performer. However, Cody was Stardust for nearly two years and a multiple-time champion in that period. As such, he had several figures made in the Stardust gimmick.

One of the best Stardust figures from the WWE Elite series kept the classic Stardust look and came with miniature models of the two copper tag team championship belts. This figure was one of the earliest Stardust figures, coming out in 2014, the same year the gimmick debuted. It predates many of the negative Stardust storylines and looks very good compared to the real-life model.

/10 Aew Ringside Champion Cody Figure

Cody was never seen as a true champion during his first run in the company, often competing in tag teams or as a villain to rival more prominent stars like Rey Mysterio. Fans of action figures looking for a great-looking Cody with a championship around his waist would love the AEW Ringside figure with the TNT Championship and the champion Cody Rhodes.

Cody is still one of the best TNT champions in AEW’s history, and fans looking to remember the inaugural champion will want to get their hands on the figure. The figure doesn’t look remarkably different from other AEW figures, but the sentimental value is quite high.

/10 Cody Rhodes Aew Unmatched Series 4

Cody Rhodes’ time as the founder, part-time booker, and Executive Vice President of AEW is fascinating for wrestling fans, particularly older fans who follow the industry online. While Cody’s stint as a wrestling executive, tv star, and promoter is interesting, it doesn’t make for a great action figure.

In a practical sense, a business suit action figure doesn’t apply all that well to selling figures to kids. While some older fans might like the novelty, collectors are far more likely to seek out other more significant figures, especially since the company is new enough that they can still be bought online.

/10 American Nightmare Njpw Funko Pop

Most of Cody’s career and wrestling figures in North America are dominated by two companies, WWE and AEW. However, Funko was able to license a Cody Rhodes figure that is 100% unique. The design is in their patented Funko Pop style, and it’s based on his time in NJPW.

His tenure was brief and uneventful, but Rhodes was at one point the leader of NJPW’s Bullet Club faction. He was following in the lineage of Finn Balor, AJ Styles, and his future business partner Kenny Omega. While the figure isn’t great for kids looking to control their favorite Japanese stars, it is genuinely unique as a collector’s item.

/10 Worst: Chris Jericho

AEW UNRIVALED TNT CODY FIGURE REVIEW! RINGSIDE EXCLUSIVE!

Because there have been so many action figures for Chris Jericho over the years, there’s a lot for fans to choose from with him. Unfortunately, this particular version isn’t one of the best, with things just not looking as natural or realistic.

His face doesn’t look the best here, and there are better AEW figures of him to choose from. Plus, the pale skin tone being mixed with a different color also doesn’t feel right for him, with this being quite a basic one overall.

/10 Best: Penta El Zero Miedo

Whenever there is a figure made for someone like Penta El Zero Miedo, attention to detail is key. He has elaborate ring gear, great face paint, and tattoos. Therefore getting things spot on is crucial to make the figure look realistic.

Thankfully, this one has been done well. The figure looks fantastic, and the small intricate parts of this are what make it stand out. This is one figure that has been created perfectly, and fans have been pleased to see that.

/10 Worst: Brandi Rhodes

The Brandi Rhodes figure was released at the same time as Cody’s. While he isn’t brilliant either, Brandi’s is weaker, as the attention to detail just isn’t the same as other releases. Things just don’t look quite right with this one, which is a shame.

The actual figure itself is also a little clunky in places, which is never ideal. Plus, when it comes to AEW’s women’s division, there are many wrestlers without a figure that fans would much rather see due to the fact Brandi rarely competes.

Aew Full Gear Notes: Main Event Finish Early Ppv Number Trios Best

Some notes from last night’s Full Gear show:

The main event finish with William Regal handing MJF Brass Knux was Tony Khan’s idea and you can look back at the last several weeks of the build-up and see the signs leading to it. It appears from the press conference that MJF and Regal will be a heel champion pairing not unlike Kenny Omega and Don Callis.

There was another finish brought up by several of the most influential wrestlers. We don’t know what it was although I presume MJF winning was not the question and it was just a different way to get there. It was an alternative way of getting there. Khan was strong on his finish that the direction this goes.

Regarding the PPV number, Khan noted to us regarding his comments last night that it was based on what they have now. It looks to be similar to All Out, which I’d consider to be a success if it ends up in that realm without C.M. Punk. All Out was 140,000 buys. It was below last year’s Full Gear, which did 155,000 buys. Most did not expect this year’s show to have a shot at beating last year’s numbers. The two other Full Gear shows were about 90,000 and 100.000 buys.

The numbers he had last night were very preliminary and based a lot on advance order numbers, but the company would have a better idea today or tomorrow on streaming numbers. Television PPV numbers don’t come in for 90 days but we usually get very strong estimates later in the week. With Thanksgiving that could be delayed a little.

/10 Best: Darby Allin

AEW Unrivaled Series #1

There’s so much to enjoy about this particular action figure, and it’s great that Darby Allin has been given such a great one considering the role he has played within the company. Because he has an iconic and memorable look, the figure needed to reflect that, which it does.

This looks exactly like him, with the body and face being well done. But it’s the effort and detail in everything else that makes this one of the best figures. From the tattoos to the face paint, and even the jacket having the spray paint helps to make this look brilliant.
